Food quiz 1. What is in the jug? 2. What am I doing this for? 3. What am I cooking tonight? (Not you Barbara 🧐, I fed you this last week 🤣).

Just made a lovely big batch of potato and lentil dahl. Should last a few days. Sadly Mrs R doesn’t do hot so I’ve had to heat mine at the table with fresh green chillies instead of adding a fist full of ground dried Kashmiri chillies, which I’d have done if it was just for me 😖

This is the president of the USA, or as he’s otherwise known in Russian since he was recruited as agent “Krasnov”. This is not a statesman. This is an entitled school yard bully, whose dad is the richest man in the world. Jesus America. What have you done to the whole world.

Even though I say so myself, that tea was bloody delicious. The pepper is stuffed with chorizo, mushrooms, rice and fresh parsley. Lemon chicken with smoked paprika and black pepper. And what a spectacular wine paring that was. And, every single bit is off the yellow label shelf!

We’ve just booked a holiday in Goa for Feb 26. The main reason is for the fantastic full of flavour, local dishes and especially seafood (I’ve been before). Isn’t it depressing when you look at restaurant reviews and people are raving that you can get a great “Full English” 😖

Our Borrowed dog says Mrs R’s toast is actually his not hers!

MAGA, America imagine this scenario. Armed robbers break into your house and murder a family member. The police turn up and tell you that they’ve had a word with the robbers and it’s been agreed between them that the robbers are now going to own and live in your spare bedroom. Is that acceptable?

The reason this curry is so green is because I made the base sauce from 24 big green chillies, curry leave and fresh coriander plus ginger, onion and garlic all minced to a purée. Not a drop of oil in it. Extremely healthy 😇😋 (Mrs R had a baked potato 🤣).

When I watch these two men speaking it makes me embarrassed for Americans. Zelenskyy is clear, calm and speaks from his heart of and for his people. Trump just waffles and lies and pretends he likes his people while he fleeces them.

Seven years ago tonight I asked Mrs R to marry me in Konak Meze in Harrogate. She said yes and we flew to Gibraltar and got married. No friends or family. Just two lovely hotel receptionists that were our witnesses/photographers for €30 each 😃 Happy Valentines Day everyone 🥰

Just got a 12 hour Twitter ban from X for replying to this post of Mad Kennedy’s conformation with “America, I hope you like having diseases”. America. The land of free speech 🤷 Elon Musk. Champion of free speech 🤷

Donegal airport is so badly affected by the wind. Just watched the Dublin flight circled four times and give up and headed back to Dublin. Happens all the time. Only 25mph wind but that enough to do it. Twice it’s caught us out now. Impossible to plan a holiday round it 😖

What would you pay for this in the supermarket? Huge bunches of beautiful dill, coriander and curry leaves and almost a pound of chillies. Total cost €7. Spiceland, a great Indian supermarket in Letterkenny. What a bargain 🤷

Lidl have got fresh pasta on spesh for €1.20 so I made us a very simple but lovely sauce. Mutti tomatoes, tomato pure, a red wine stock cube, onion, lots of garlic and a bunch of basil leaves, salt and pepper and that was it. Lush. Oh, bit of Parmesan 👍

I’ve never had a dog or had anything to do with one. But we’re looking after Boru for our best mates while they go to England for a couple of weeks. He’s lovely 🥰 …. But I’m still not getting one 😬 🤣

Football fans, pay attention. This is how opposing fans should act. Not throwing things at each other and fighting. Scotland Ireland Rugby match

All set ready for the Ireland match. Millie the pub dog has invited herself to join us 🤣

I’ve just started out on a spectacular four mile walk along the Wild Atlantic Way in Donegal. It’s off to my local this afternoon to watch Ireland beat Scotland in the six nations and win myself €50, probably 😬. Today is a good day.
