Oh, that's not a mystery, tbh. There's room for nuance, but overall? Things that are seen as being popular among dudes and young boys? Fun and good. Things that are mostly seen as being popular among women? Cringe, and being popular among young girls is worse. Straight up.

Crow Rook going from being seen as an idiot and a disgrace/exiled to being called the “Essential Crow” and a “Fine Crow” by Viago and Teia brings tears to my eyes. That kind of growth, a full-circle, the conclusion of a hard-earned arc. Viago sees it, he knows *his idiot* has fully left the nest. 🤧

Completing Veilguard in nightmare mode is an enlightening experience. The change from “Dreadwolf” to “Veilguard” makes sense. This was never only Solas’ story. it was Rook’s, and even more so, it was about their companions. They wouldn’t have made it that far without them.
