I was reading "All the Worst Humans" (libro.fm/audiobooks/9...) The author makes an offhand comment that Elon Musk's wealth, and, it follows, power, has been propped up by some deep pocketed people and groups (he name checks the Saudis) and this is such a salient point in our present time.
