Extra amusement, looking back at it all, a lot of my rxn to the Direct was "This looks cool and all, but it's wholly unnecessary and ancillary". And the price point turned the meh-wich soggy. $450 USD console, $80 games?! I can't be arsed to pay $40 nowadays, $30 a VERY hard sell.
