Day 30 #100dayproject

Day 29 #100dayproject

Day 28 #100dayproject

Running hasn't been doing it for me lately. In fact, in every race of the winter series I became more frustrated with the decline in my ability. I decided instead of running the last race I would volunteer. Spent the morning in the woods with a cowbell at the 10k turn around.

Days 25-27 Forgot to take a picture of day 25. #100dayproject

Day 24 #100dayproject

The last thing a bug sees in my yard. #backyardchickens

Day 22 and 23 #100dayproject

It took about 3 months to get these shelves up between breaking a drill bit off in a shelf, acquiring a new drill bit, not being able to find a stud where I planned to put them, building a chicken coop, and finally hanging them yesterday. Took 24 hours and a feather wand to get someone to try them.

Day 21 #100dayproject

If you need me, I'll be at the park. Day 20 #100dayproject

Day 19 #100dayproject

Day 18 #100dayproject

Day 17 #100dayproject

Day 16 #100dayproject

In years passed, if I felt a migraine coming on, I would have slathered on some tiger balm and gone to work. Of course, that never really helped. I would suffer much longer and harder than if I'd just taken the day off. I'm better at taking it easy now. The last few weeks have only enforced this.

Since chaos seems to be the way, I added to it last night in the hope of supporting local pollinators. Snow was in the forecast, and I finally got my seeds that need cold stratification out. Mother nature held up her end of the bargain. Fingers crossed! #pollinatorfriendly #nativeplants

Days 14 & 15 #100dayproject

Roberta has been done with quarantine for a week. I finished her coop last night. It's going to take a bit more time before everyone can play together. Now they are screaming at each other. #chickenmom #rescuechicken

Day 13 #100dayproject

Day 12 #100dayproject

Day 11 Some take the oath seriously. #100dayproject

Days 8-10 #100dayproject

Had an expert inspect my work on the mini coop. She had a lot to say. Unfortunately, I couldn't understand what she said. #rescuechicken

I went in the garage/barn to find staples* and Roberta decided that exactly where I had been working was the best place to dustbathe. *could not find staples and had to go to the hardware store again.

Day 7 Some how I got the official start date totally wrong. Oh well. #100dayproject

Day 6, after I called my congress people and worked on my carpentry skills. #100dayproject

Day 5 #100dayproject Called my congress people and governor, then drew some lines.

Day 4 #100dayproject

It seems like some people didn't read what they swore allegiance to. U.S. Constitution Article I Section 9 Clause 8 Titles of Nobility and Foreign Emoluments No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States

Day 3 of ink and wash, last day of watercolor and ink class. #100dayproject

Day 2 of ink and wash. #100dayproject

I started a day early. 100 days of ink and wash will give me something to do instead of #doomscroll #100dayproject

This is where I am in life: Was so distracted by worry I took my ADHD meds before bed instead of my prescription allergy meds. Checked my work phone to see if I still have a job and if I could buy the fancy protien powder or store brand tofu was all I could afford. At least my plants are happy.

Today's calls to my congress people focused on threats to national security and costs to me as a tax prayer when many of these positions that were fired because they were held by probationary employees ultimately have to be re-hired and trained.

For anyone affected by these illegal layoffs, file a claim! Then call your congress people. www.mspb.gov

Congress people called for the day. I know mine are all MAGA die hards. They will listen to economic concerns though. My messages were all about the impending downturn to the economy of our state from recent orders. AND my worry about congress' loss of the power of the purse. #floodthephonelines

I went from driving an hour and a half to the dentist to being able to walk to a community college. It was a much needed change. The watercolor and ink class I'm taking is on the farthest part of campus from me. It's a tight turn around getting off work and to class, so I do drive to it.

I hope I remember everything from carpentry class this fall. Mini chicken coop in the works.

Moody last day in Coeur d'Alene. Feeling a bit more fortified after another great week of leadership training.

Flew over the old home place on the way to Coeur d'Alene today. Winter was always the best season.
