#Nzuzi doesn't have a specific style, but he loves colorful exciting patterns! He'll pick up (and pull off!) the things in clearance sections absolutely no one else will buy. Jewelry and makeup are huge for him too, except rings (bad sensory). He also loves dresses, despite being a cis guy. #OCLore

16. What do they wish people knew about their disability? That ASPD doesn’t make them evil, that they don’t just go around wanting to kill/hurt others. Also that HIV isn’t contagious when their levels are undetectable (common once treated!)

15. What jobs/hobbies do they have? #Gabriel is a chef! She started out as just a line cook, then it became a head chef surprisingly fast—working through LA restaurants. Bc of Gabriel’s peanut allergy, he does need to wear a mask when peanuts are prepared and can’t taste peanut dishes.

14. Is their partner accommodating? Yes, Nico is their boyfriend and he’s generally really good! He understands Gabriel can’t always just act empathetic or kind, and is a doctor so ends up being good with seizure and opportunistic infection care too. Also, Nico takes PreP haha

i think half of "talent" is just a person happening to have fun doing whatever it is they're supposedly talented at, and not hating it. i was "talented" at art at age 3 but if i'd stopped drawing at age 3 because i found it tedious or unrewarding, i'd probably pretty much draw like a 3-year-old now

13. Do they have friends with the same disabilities? Nope, Gabriel doesn’t actually know anyone else who has ASPD, HIV, or seizures! He’s not a support group or community person. He has met one or two kids with severe peanut allergies before though haha.

12. If they have multiple disabilities, how do they affect each other? With Gabriel, it’s more like one disability caused another, and another…! Like his conduct disorder (“pre-ASPD”) led to risk taking and contracting HIV. HIV led to AIDS, which led to brain damage and seizures.

11. What’s an interesting fact about their disabilities? Not technically a disability, but Gabriel’s freckles are partially skin hyperpigmentation from both (parentally forced) skin bleaching (blah), and long term arsenic exposure. The latter also makes #Gabriel a pretty frail person!

10. Have they ever had a serious crisis because of their disabilities? Omg…multiple 😅 Gabriel’s cheated death way too many times! ASPD risk taking les to a drunk car crash with friends. One died, but Gabriel survived and was comatose for weeks. Broken collarbone still aches. (con’t)
