Not to state the obvious, but none of them were sent to a terrorist prison in El Salvador. They all had lawyers, indictment by grand jury, a trial or a guilty plea where a judge ensured it was knowing & voluntary & access to an appeals process. In other words, all the hallmarks of due process.

This whole 16-second scene is nuts. Trump talking about honoring Jesus “very powerfully,” Melania acting weird/bored/disgusted as usual, Trump saying he saved religion, the bunny nodding along, and of course all televised by Lindell TV.

Harvard sued the Trump administration in federal court over multibillion dollar cuts to its research funding, accusing the White House of undertaking an arbitrary and unconstitutional campaign to “punish Harvard for protecting its constitutional rights.” www.thecrimson.com/article/2025...

I’m going to wildly speculate that Noem took that cash off an immigrant during one of those ICE raids and pocketed it.

Can confirm. There are signs everywhere in and around the Sistine Chapel banning photography. You can not enter without passing a sign. The Trump Regime has no respect for anything and are completely selfish 100% of the time.

This is deranged. Jan. 6 defendants were repped by one of the best public defender offices in the U.S. They were more likely to be released pretrial & got comparatively light sentences. SCOTUS threw out a bunch of convictions, which almost never happens. They got gold-plated due process!

To be fair, I am looking forward to attending Trump's funeral. What I leave will not pass for flowers.

Who the fuck “looks forward” to attending a funeral?

I always look forward to funerals too. Good times.

Passport, blank checks, $3K in cash, driver’s license, makeup, and meds? Sound like a flight risk

All we have to do to get Trump to fire Hegseth is to find a way that he can blame Biden for it.

I've watched politics most of my life, and I have NEVER seen any admi blame OTHERS for their issues more than trump's. Why elect that fucker if his answer when things go wrong is always "not my fault, I don't know anything about it" and "I take no responsibility?" Whose idea of a leader is that?

Donald Trump really is running the country like one of his businesses.

This is a very, very complex and exceedingly thorough process that involves extensive use of the president’s TiVo remote, so please, please, everyone, give it time www.npr.org/2025/04/21/n...

Another Monday in the #TrumpEconomy

“The Trump regime is rotting from within at an exponential decay level. They can say “fake news” over and over to their perverse delight, but this regime is cooked crisp and heading toward the dumpster.” www.meidasplus.com/p/very-impor...

This guy is crashing out hard

Trump is on the side of the lawbreakers. Hence, heads will never roll for incompetence, irresponsibility or even espionage. This regime is like no other in history. apnews.com/article/hegs...

Time for real accountability. Secretary Hegseth must resign, or be fired.

The Ministry of Propaganda is out early today doing damage control.

Of course he does.

On Fox, Shannon Bream presses @vanhollen.senate.gov about Abrego Garcia: "Do you worry, though, that you are sticking your neck out for somebody who maybe, down the line, is proven to be connected to MS-13?" Van Hollen replies: "I'm not vouching for the man. I'm vouching for the man's rights."

Pope Francis lifted the world as he led the Church with his profound moral voice. As he returns to God, may his call to humility and concern for the least among us continue to resound.

Trump picked Hegseth and 51 Republicans, including Vance, confirmed him. They are all accountable.

Deeply embarrassing stuff from the Secretary of Defense

Trump attending Easter church service just like he said he would

If Lloyd Austin had sent sensitive information about strikes in Yemen to an encrypted group chat that included his wife and brother, Republicans would be calling for his fucking head.

He would have never been appointed by a president who cared about our military. He’s a disgrace to the people in uniform who serve www.nytimes.com/2025/04/20/u...

And Thom Tillis, up for reelection in 2026, was the key vote to confirm Hegseth along with Joni Ernst. Despite the fact that they knew he was unfit, they were afraid of Trump and put their political futures ahead of the country. Now they own every bit of this debacle.

*Of course* advance information on US combat operations is classified. Pretending otherwise is an insult to our troops, who all know this. The Secretary is unfit to lead.

Somewhat ironic that the least qualified, most unfit and incompetent Sec of Defense in American history is the one who abolished DEI.

Turns out the Hegseth family plan wasn’t just for data...it included military ops.

I think we all knew it was more than just the one signal chat… but what an absolute fucking joke.. You have to be a special kind of a dumbass to do this shit..multiple times..

I mean, it's not like we didn't point out that a loudmouth drunkard with poor impulse control and a history of abuse wouldn't make a great SECDEF...

www.nytimes.com/2025/04/20/u... A stunning security failure by the Sec Def. His personal almost assuredly targeted by foreign intelligence. His wife not cleared for attack plans. He places US Navy pilots at risk.

“To lose one Signal chat, Mr. Worthing, may be regarded as a misfortune; to lose two looks like carelessness.” www.nytimes.com/2025/04/20/u...

Now we know why those three Pentagon guys were fired recently -- Hegseth felt they were the ones who leaked this story to the NY Times.

he's gotta go Hegseth Said to Have Shared Attack Details in Second Signal Chat www.nytimes.com/2025/04/20/u...

Is this bad? It sure seems bad. I mean, his barkeep must be heartbroken at having been left out. The poor mixologist got nothing but a little coin here and there, not a really cool tip like a state military secret. Always be nice to your bartender. You never know what he’ll put in your glass.

Because one time wasn’t enough: “Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth shared detailed information about forthcoming strikes in Yemen on March 15 in a private Signal group chat that included his wife, brother and personal lawyer” www.nytimes.com/2025/04/20/u...

BREAKING NYT: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth shared detailed information about forthcoming strikes in Yemen on March 15 in a private Signal group chat that included his wife, brother and personal lawyer, according to four people with knowledge of the chat.
