Morning tunes: www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7DZ...

There are a lot of things that (if) the Dems get back in power they have to do, but I think number one is an agenda to strengthen separation of powers and retake foreign policy control back to the senate.

Just now learning the 4 nations game isn't like a repeating thing but it's a version of their all-star game. I'm completely stunned, that absolutely fucking rocked.

🚨 Apple TV+'s adaptation of Martha Wells Murderbot book series arrives May 16! I have not seen it but I am a massive mega-fan of the books and want my other Murderbot heads to know! They released 2 pics of star/EP Alexander Skarsgård! Here they are! 🤖💚

One of the people who runs the shower side of the shower pop up my free clothes closet is at, Deeq, needs dental help. He is genuinely one of the best souls I know. He runs the kids' programming, does Somali translation, organizes the food shelf... And he needs community right now. 💕💸

This would actually be a pretty great development for me personally, but I just checked: none of these are real

I'm absolutely an amateur at this stuff, but giving how DOGE is starting to poke around HUD, I wanted to see how many $$$ are at stake for Minnesota. Based on data from here (www.hudexchange.info/GRANTEES/ALL...), looks like Minnesota continuums of care get around $80,000,000 in federal funds.

Glad this is focused on unionization, but everyone is right that it's bad there is no framework in the framework document.

The central question of our time is "if enough people believe Biden was our Robespierre, does it matter that he's not?". And unfortunately it appears the answer is no.

Okay this whole screenshot is insane even knowing RFK's whole deal, but the thing that got me the most was that he said this in JUNE 2024

One of the biggest divides is people who spend most of their time "on here" talking to sophisticated political thinkers and people who have spent their time canvasing. The people out in the world are some of the biggest dipshits you can imagine. It's unbelievable.

I love threads like this because you see who views unthinking inchoate rage and anxiety is a strategy and who is willing to take two minutes to see someone’s history.

there is an increasing tendency here where libs posting on the lib posting site gas each other up that their beliefs about objective questions of popular opinion are true rather than looking into the evidence for them, or worse polarizing against evidence because it often doesn't agree

This is my favorite part of Margin Call.

What is happening on a national level is also happening in Minnesota: the GOP is throwing as many frivolous cases as possible to try and communicate to GOP voters that the actual rule of law is biased against Republicans.
