A fantastic way to kick off the new year—honored to be one of the 40 kubestronaut and proud to sport the blue jacket! #securityengjneering #learning #kubernetes

Kubernetes abstracts the underlying infrastructure, allowing for automated orchestration, scaling, and management while ensuring high availability and so it’s pretty refreshing to lift up the bonnet and build from the ground up every now and again.

The open source community offers devs many opportunities to collaborate, learn, & grow. Contributing to OSS helps you develop skills, get experience, & more. If you want to dive in this course will teach you how to get involved. Search freeCodeCamp News or our app for: "Become an Open Source Master"

Elasticsearch is a popular tool that many sites use to power their search bars. This course teaches you how to build your own search engine for the Astronomy Pic of the Day dataset & use it in your apps. Search freeCodeCamp News for "Learn Elasticsearch with a Comprehensive Beginner-Friendly Course"

The only ones who remember the long days you spend in the office are your children.

It's incredibly rewarding to see the fruits of your hard work. I'm grateful, but the journey of learning is ongoing. You can now find me on the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) public directory recognised as one of only 780 other Kubestronauts globally. www.cncf.io/training/kub...

Well, it's almost the weekend and I know exactly what I'll be doing... SUBMITTING CFPs TO @Cloud Native Computing Foundation's #KubeCon LONDON!! Don't miss the opportunity to share your experiences and knowledge w the community. 🗓️ Submit by Sunday, 24 November @ 11:59pm GMT hubs.ly/Q02YQFnz0

Kubernetes doesn't have to be overwhelming! Focus on the core components: 1. Control Plane: The brains of the operation (Etcd, API Server, Controllers, Scheduler) 2. Worker Nodes: Where the action happens (Kubelet, Kube Proxy, Container Runtime) #tech #securityengineering #google

Late night thoughts 💭 lead me to publish episode 2 of our series "Malicious Attack Vectors", where we discuss new and intricate ways adversaries exploit Kubernetes environments. This episode: Static Pod Attack.

Stop running away from node affinity It’s quite straight forward, think of it as you providing Kubernetes a list of nodes you would either like your pods to be deployed on or not deployed on. The “list of nodes” are associated to the nodes by the concepts of labels. See, now you get it — I hope

Random kubernetes pointer: if your pods are in a pending state, check on your scheduler Your scheduler’s responsible for binding your pods to a node. If it’s down, your pods won't have the resources to be in a running state unless you manually bind the pod to a node I made a YouTube video on this

Ask specific, bite sized questions and follow up if you need more clarity Overloaded questions are typically followed up with verbose answers.

@kelseyhightower.com makes a good point about giving gifts. The gift — though wicked — may end up a duplicate, gifting cash may be a more dynamic and thus more befitting gift

I’m wiring up a kubernetes cluster with splunk, but need to look into agent options to forward logs

I look forward to building a community on here, I’ll do that through sharing all things kubernetes security

Hey folks, any idea how I sync up my twitter followers with this app

You don't have to learn everything. Find your niches and collaborate.

One skill I need to is my public speaking, a work in progress. Starting now.
