Ok so based on fossil records Jersey had its own sub species of red deer. Dwarf red deer were only 1/6 the size of the ones we know today. Sadly they became extinct when the channel dried up during the last ice age.

Made it safely to my hotel after what turned into an 11 hour ordeal. Phone nearly died and I forgot the £5 converter to charge it. Hotel saved my ass with a spare so I'll grab my own tomorrow. Also my toothbrush fully discharged during the flight and has no power. It's been a oddly stressful trip

Hmmmm...the new model for my current road shoes come out in November and my new model of trails in 11 days or so. Do I use my current shoes for the half or get new ones now and run that in new ones? Maybe had the Cardiff Half as my shoes farewell tour?
