Used Pages on my MacBook to turn my Traveller star map and descriptive materials into an EPUB eBooks. Looks good on my iPad. Really convenient. I like it. Easy to update as well. 2d6sf.micro.blog/2025/02/22/c...

Because it's important to have as many blogs as possible, I have started a personal blog about 2d6 science fiction games. There are various methods to follow it, should you wish. 2d6sf.micro.blog

Friday off work. Coffee. Relax. Walk the dog. Work on Traveller and podcast stuff.

Playing around with a new blog home for our Classic Traveller campaign. www.travelleritv.blog

The Traveller and GURPS shelves.

Hello, all. Friend, writer and editor @boondock60mm.bsky.social has written and published an adventure for Cepheus Engine (which works smoothly with Traveller). It is a gritty sci-fi adventure that works great with Scoundrels of Brixton setting. www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/5...

Looking for an action-packed scenario for your Cepheus Engine or Traveller campaign? Hard Vacuum-01: Pirate Bait is designed for a one-shot session or side quest. Check out these reviews and see if it's a fit for your table. www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/5...

Sword of Cepheus 2e does for fantasy what the Traveller Facsimile Edition and Cepheus Engine SRD do for SF gaming - a concise, easy to use set of rules that are easy to have at the table.

I am always blown away by the online Cepheus Engine system reference document. What a great free resource. With this and your imagination, just like with the printed version of Classic Traveller 3 books or Fac. Edition and some dice you could have fun FOREVER. www.orffenspace.com/cepheus-srd/...

Announcing the debut of HARD VACUUM, a new series of action-packed science-fiction adventures for use with #CepheusEngine and adaptable for different versions of popular 2D6 role-playing games. Issue 01: Pirate Bait is now available on @drivethrurpg.com: www.drivethrurpg.com/en/product/5...

Dear listeners. Just another post to let you know we're not dead. Trying to get a new episode recorded. There is a lot to talk about.

In today’s mail. @boondock60mm.bsky.social

My author copies of Scoundrels of Brixton: Phantoms of Unov arrived today. Really happy how this issue turned out. Early feedback has been fantastic. Look forward to writing the next installment in the series. #CepheusEngine #TravellerRPG @rpg-ramblings.bsky.social

Well, Marc has officially announced the transfer of ownership of Traveller to Mongoose. So that is a thing that has happened, and it's really not a surprise. Regardless what one might think of Mongoose, and there are many opinions, I love Marc and thank him for the world's greatest game!

Scoundrels of Brixton is back, with issue three going to Kickstarter very soon! Click the link and hit the "Notify me" button to help promote the project. This issue is HUGE and I'm confident fans of #CepheusEngine and #TravellerRPG are gonna love it. www.kickstarter.com/projects/158...

Excellent D&D 5e game today. Once again, Unseen Servant is a great spell.

On Starships and Trading, which is a musing about the #Traveller #ttrpg from the 1970s: roleplayrescue.com/2024/05/24/o...

Jeff and I had a good talk today about some future topics for the podcast. Rather than just trying to record "something" we're going to put some actual thought into this and make it good.

Came up with that I think are some good topics for the podcast today.

Strictly speaking, all fiction is fantasy. Slightly less strictly speaking, "fantasy" and "science fiction" are both modes of fantasy, with the broad difference being that one pretends to a rational basis for its fantasy (SF) while the other does not insist on it (F). reactormag.com/lets-start-a...

There's a new edition of H. Beam Piper's "Little Fuzzy" out today, which features an introduction by none other than me! If you would like to check it out (and learn more about the educational program that is reissuing it), here's the link for that: wordfirepress.com/gpcw/

Started putting my Traveller setting and info into Legend Keeper.

Wondering why people ask for classic Traveller gaming materials as relatively expensive individual downloads when ALL the material is available on a CD-ROM for $35. Then I realize how few people probably have a device to read a CDROM anymore.

Happy Mayday! On this day we celebrate TRAVELLER, the greatest Science Fiction RPG of all time!

Finalizing starship deck-plan sketches for Scoundrels of Brixton: Issue 3. Looking forward to seeing what the illustrator comes up with and sharing updates as we get closer to launch. Real excited about this issue. It's good.

We had and excellend D&D 5e game today. Main encounter? Caught in the city sewer between a Gelatinous Cube and a Carrion Crawler. Could have easily lost a couple of PCs. One failed 2 death saves before the Druid could heal him into positive HP. Fun was had. Monsters killed.
