πŸ§ͺβš›οΈβ˜€οΈπŸ” This thread explains 3 critical flaws in the Hoyt & Schatten (1993) TSI series. While the paper has many issues, these 3 suffice to negate the sharp recent increase in the series, showing the apparent correlation with Earth's temperature was merely an artifact.

I see a lot of my mutual follow these accounts. Don't do it! They're spam. They steal content, get basic facts wrong, don't credit creators, and often amass an audience so they can link to spammy sites.

πŸ”πŸ§ͺ Curious if anyone would like to share thoughts/experience with Qeios and their public peer review approach? Is this a legitimate initiative? Or something to be wary of? #AcademicSky

Still looking for more applications from women to help moderate the feeds! I'd really like to try and get a little bit more gender balance on the team. πŸ” It's not a big time commitment (~10 minutes a week or so) and can be applied to easily with the form below ⬇️
