Day 26- Magenta #FebruArty #Watercolor #Art #LandscapePainting I thought I knew my colors but I am now confused about magenta. I think it’s like when you say a word over and over and it stops making sense. I have used a magenta adjacent color in so many paintings I’m not sure which one is true.

Day 25- #FebruArty #ArtYear #Watercolor #Ink #Art #Cats Here is an oldie but a goodie. When I did this painting I only had small amount of low quality watercolors and India ink. I spent so much time drawing and filling in each leaf and making sure the ink coverage was consistent. Like meditation.

They are part of the larger umbrella octopus family and are the deepest living of all known octopuses. I watched this one play on a Nat Geo short filmed by ROV 2 miles deep. I love Dumbos!🐙🩶🥰
