Soo... we almost got basic loop of "pick up, deliver, get paid, upgrade" done. Now I need to do the "upgrade" part. At the very least I have experience in playing games where spreadsheets are powerful.

Something I just got running on latest version of Ren'py. Going to redo at least the planning screen to look like a scrum-ish board.

In Akiba, looking for physical indie game boxes. Couldn't find them anymore. Used to be promo videos of them on storefronts. Now I only have a last bastion to make physical box indie games. Knowing shops around me. #indiedev #indiegamedev

Did a simple system in #unrealengine that auto-generates a list of sources and destinations for delivery based on where delivery location actors + tags are placed on map. Though maybe I could do better with a regional actor and... sockets for locatons? #indiedev #indiegamedev

#renpy does have an awesome unmentioned feature If you set it up right, you can hand the *scene* "source code" directly to editors. And they can edit it directly. Why? It looks like a movie script format sometimes.

I've known about the crazy small indie game pipeline that existed since 2005. Even a little before then. You could buy boxed copies of indie games in Japan. They played promo videos on TVs that faced the outside windows... at like 480p... max. My dream was to join them. #indiedev #indiegamedev

We do actually host a bluesky PDS. If you own a company and want a main account along with several related business blueaky accounts under the main account, get a PDS started.

I feel like something in the game industry is going to snap and indie games are going to be even more crazy. Maybe AAA will start to act like indie devs in order to compete with indies... or something. Just for the money to be feasible. #indiedev #indiegamedev

Awesome! Now I can know how people with motion graphics self control. Self taught motion graphics before the age of youtube was really something.

Followed a bunch of video game trailer makers here. (What's the hashtag?) Now while I can make game trailers, I am more of a motion graphics junkie at heart. Think Max0r type of videos. I really want to go all out and not care about stuff like... ensuring viewers have time to read text.

Need to take advantage of constuction blueprint more in #unrealengine. Use editor-only actor that updates itself on list of waypoints for food delivery. Sources waypoints and destination waypoints. Waypoints will have a list of tags. Then choose several pairs for players. #indiedev #indiegamedev
