Marco Rubio's parents were Cuban immigrants at the time of his birth and arrived in the U.S. in 1956 before Castro took power in Cuba on January 1, 1959. They were naturalized in 1975 almost five years after his birth in 1971. Would that make the Secretary of State a "home-grown"?
