Started this over 2 years ago and got very distracted by side quests. But it’s done!

Me: Why do I feel so awful? My body: Please give me something other than coffee and Prozac

The rare snowstorm has forced the kids and I to all work from home this week. So here’s my tip to keep the kids away while I’m working: sing Cher songs really loud.

Want to go visit the national parks this year? Sorry. The reservation system is shut down, EMT personnel are gone, so don't get hurt or lost. No one can clean the bathrooms or cabins, so they'll be closed. Rangers are fired. www.sfchronicle.com/bayarea/arti...

One Ali Hazelwood book this month wasn’t enough. Time for a reread. When’s the sequel @alihazelwood01.bsky.social ?

Destined to finish my book today, cursed to have a job and responsibilities.

The 14 yr old is about to start a dystopian unit. I promised her the whole series of whatever book she chose then she asked me to help gently break the books in. 💜

@alihazelwood01.bsky.social has been taunting me all day! Almost here. 😁

Apparently “search your heart” was the wrong answer when the kids asked if they had to go to school today. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Monument Valley under the storm ⛈️ 🌪️

My favorite January read. Last year had a rough end and I lost perspective that I’m still in the middle of my story. Thanks, @maggienorthauthor.bsky.social for the reminder.

Part of keeping the horrors at bay is finding things to look forward to. I’m going to be riding the high of @alihazelwood01.bsky.social new book in the mail for a few days.

Today’s vibes after a late night in the ED with one of the kids.

Preordering books from my favorite authors is my new addiction.

In hindsight, when I rearranged my office to look out the window last fall, I should have realized it wouldn’t always be so bright with color. Like so many things in life, I’m looking for beauty in the sparse trees today.

This morning I woke up with cold feet and I did not press them to my husband’s leg. Is this what sainthood feels like?

This guy loves a snow day.

Did someone say cheesecake?

Just typed my own name incorrectly three times, in case you wondering how my day is going.

Some days I don’t feel like I can persist against the horrors. More like an uneasy truce.

Thinking about quitting my job to Hobby full time.

The thing about being married to me is that I will hide your Xmas gifts all over the house. And then forget about them. And then surprise us both with them in January.

Linus is closely watching the human brother as he “sleds” down the icy street.

I hope you all have someone in your life who loves you and can give you experiences that you love.

My 10 yr old still says “docu-memories” and I hope she never stops.

Looking for beauty
