name a more iconic cpu, ill wait

The "Gameplay Overview" video for Marathon is 30 fps on YouTube. I seriously hope they did not pay a lot of money whoever produced it, as they bunged it up horribly if so.

Absolutely huge news. I’ll be subscribing for sure.

They should call this oven the “Master Chef”

The Death Stranding 2 pre-order trailer might be one of the best trailers I've ever seen. Absolute cinema. I was already excited but now I'm at some level beyond excited. www.youtube.com/watch?v=HdzI... #deathstranding #deathstranding2

OK, yeah, Death Stranding 2...my hype level is very high now. Visually, it's looking like it might set a new standard for visual quality on consoles as well.

Even though I have no plans to buy an RX 9070 XT, this release is very exciting. It's great to see AMD pull off a decent release that's well priced (at least for the XT variant).

We have a brand new "I hope you're doing well" post from Romero! What a beautiful start of the weekend

Google’s AI search is extremely useful not just for false information but also for giving insane answers to basic questions

I’ve been using some Japanese region PlayStation products recently and I’m sold on the O button being Confirm/OK and the X button being Cancel/Back. I’m convinced now that it should have been this way globally.

Too many Americans escaped their teens and 20s without ever having to work a service job, I’m convinced of this

Final day of working on my BigMode #gamejam entry. It is complete! I was also able to fit in the settings menu which originally was to be cut. If you'd like to check out the entry and even download and try the game, all the info is available here: itch.io/jam/bigmode-... #unity #gamedev

Day 9 of working on my BigMode #gamejam entry. The game is complete minus a feature. I want to have a simple settings menu to adjust volume and fullscreen/windowed. I may have to cut this due to time. There are two known bugs that I'll have to squash tomorrow before submitting it. #unity #gamedev

Day 8 of working on my BigMode #gamejam entry. Today I implemented the menu system. It works well and includes a tutorial and credits section. Menus support both mouse and gamepad input. For everyone who's been following along I appreciate you! I can't wait to share this game! #unity #gamedev

Day 7 of working on my BigMode #gamejam entry. Worked a lot of balancing difficulty. It's much more manageable and, dare I say it, kind of fun! I also finished most of the sound effects and music implementation and a simple rank-up system to give some player progression. #unity #gamedev

Day 6 of working on my BigMode #gamejam entry. The game is now fully playable! The balance is way off, it's basically impossible difficulty at the moment, I'll need to work on that. Next steps also include a main menu, some basic tutorials, better game over handling, and some audio. #unity #gamedev

Day 5 of working on my BigMode #gamejam entry. The game is starting to become an actual playable game. Player health and energy are functional along with a simple UI. Enemies can shoot at you and you can shoot back! There's even some very simple graphics. I might just finish on time. #unity #gamedev

Day 3 of working on my BigMode #gamejam entry. Mostly spent on implementing more of the player weapon targeting system and enemy behaviors. Also added some basic FX as I needed them for visual debugging. Close to starting on game flow. Enjoy this screenshot of enemies getting zapped! #unity #gamedev

Day two of working on my BigMode #gamejam entry. Nothing glamourous to show I'm afraid. Mostly worked on improving the player's targeting system and set the groundwork for enemy behavior. Enemies have different spots on the map they try to move to depending on player position and behavior setting.

On today's episode of stupid things that I find at #goodwill that make me laugh.

Day one of working on my BigMode #gamejam entry. Player movement and targeting system implemented along with very basic enemies. All primitive shapes for now. Final art will be implemented later on. #unity #gamedev

Updated the family. ~35 hours left.

I'm joining my first Game Jam! I've been wanting to try one for a long time now and this seems like a good time to do it. Also, this Jam in particular attracted me because it disallows AI content. I much prefer that restriction for a creative event like this. itch.io/jam/bigmode-...

ain't that a mood

Shining the Holy Ark has to have one of the craziest starts to a JRPG. Join a standard mercenary group to hunt a bandit. When you find the bandit a spaceship crashes into the cave killing everyone. Aliens come out of the spaceship and fuse with the dead bodies to resurrect them. Just #sega things.

yes let me run this game at 1700947308x1814966130 resolution, there's absolutely no way this will cause issues

Today I'm remembering a future that never came to be...

Huge news! Really looking forward to seeing more info on the RT4KCE.
