the lemkin institute situation is so common because very few people see trans women as actual people with agency and so react with hostility to being told to listen to us. the idea of trans women being INVOLVED in our own saving is somehow considered absurd by default.

I should revise this to say: the goal of the men and monied interests behind the coup is not just to loot and monetize the collapse of the United States.
