I don't know where to begin with this. I have PTSD. Trigger warning } } } } } } } } } I was a victim of childhood sexual assault and institutional abuse. I was 11. 11. It was in a government run childhood psychiatric institution. And it still sits with me every day. I just want it to go away.

Cunk on IT: Behold the graceful terminal, with it's unwieldy efficiency has remained a staple of the Linux community. But has it ever done anything of note for society? *I've been staring at the terminal doing .confs all day. You'll excuse me.

Originally installed MATE as my window manger on one of my machines. I hated it. Got up at 3am to totally rebuild the machine. Happily installing Debian 12 with Gnome. Lets see how long I last between doing another complete rebuild

I've definitely been more manic this year than not. My depression is arriving less often and with less severity. But. Ive been experiencing highs i havent felt in a long time. Part of this is because of productivity, but part of it is definitely bipolar rearing its head.

Took my dog to the vet to donate blood, unexpected interview with the ABC. My dog is going to be on the news. Truly incredible.

My godson is graduating primary school today. He's developmentally delayed, has autism and a variety of other issues. And I ove him. I remember being 12 years old and being where he is, and I'm just so proud. Recently he was able to say 'I had a good day at school' which is huge for nonverbal.

In all seriousness, i want to talk about how good Transperth are. Clean trains, minimal wait times, nice aircon generally good service. Much better than Melbourne and Sydney. Thoigh out network is smaller, its far more accessible.
