This is a 2014 Canadian silver 1/2 ounce struck to commemorate the 1st Special Service Force, a US-Canadian joint commando unit known as "The Black Devils" Brigade during WWII. An American member of my family was wounded at Anzio by a German anti-personnel mine. We honor our mutual sacrifices.
