Please join us March 4th for this free webinar. I’ll be sharing *new research* from a larger project explaining how Christian nationalism contributes to our submission under plutocracy. Follow the QR code for the zoom link.

Mind boggling that anyone could think Ukraine started this war. We all saw the invasion with our own eyes. No one can be so dense as to think Ukraine was the aggressor. It's important to understand why someone would be motivated to lie about something so obvious. Who are they serving?

Sympathy is from two Greek words and coined long after biblical times to describe compassion for another. Empathy is a word that was derived from sympathy much later and has been used largely in the way sympathy used to be used. To try & divide too finely is not helpful and not lexically accurate.

Oh yeah, that'll fool 'em. 🙄 #CmonMan #MFFL

Grateful to have Pastor Vincent Parker from Golden Gate Missionary Baptist Church speak as part of the Black Student Fellowship film series. It was powerful to hear him speak about the Black Church, social justice, and the challenges of ministry in the Black Church during such tumultuous times.

Appreciate this reflection on "faith-washing" as a form of manipulation that can feed into spiritual abuse. Like white-washing, it is dangerous and harmful. #faithwashing josephyoo.com/2025/02/19/f...

It's difficult to understand the psalms of lament & imprecation, the yearning for justice if you have not lived outside of societal favor, privilege, and power. The cries of the victims on the margins are just abstractions. For those suffering injustice, the psalms are the cries of the heart.

Mercy, this girl suffered so much. Racist hate, xenophobia, and such rhetoric has consequences. Sometimes there is blood. There is always harm. Praying there is comfort for the mother. Hoping there is justice and accountability. 💔 www.newsweek.com/texas-school...

This happened an hour north of us... kids are listening to the racist hate they hear at home and they spread it, sometimes with tragic outcome. The school also needs to be held accountable. This was preventable on at least those two fronts. www.newsweek.com/texas-school...

What are some truths that keep me anchored in turbulent waters? ⚓ God is love, he is merciful, gracious, and abounding in hesed. He is our father. We are sons & daughters. We are co-heirs with Jesus. Jesus is our friend. He knows every hurt and heartache. Jesus is near to the brokenhearted.

We will worry later, we'll celebrate today. Happy birthday to a wonderful, sweet-souled son.

It's our son's birthday and I'm struggling with the tension of celebrating him and all he means to us, while also knowing he has an important procedure next week and the shadow of serious health questions. So many complex emotions. 💙🙏🏼 I know the Lord is near and that he loves him.

Incredibly troubling. Musk is violating essential safeguards and boundaries.

Wounded healers, those who have suffered, those who know heartache - they have a tenderness and compassion that helps in comforting & caring for others who are hurting. 💔
