man the 'ask abby' advice columns out there today are... Really bad. half the time they don't even really answer the question, they just talk vaguely about what they know about the subject and leave it at that, and the other half the time they misinterpret what's being asked and don't help at all.

just found out my favourite thrifted pants I had to throw away because of an unfortunate stain was actually from a decently expensive brand and I can NOT easily replace them 😞 I think I got the pants for like $15 and the brand averages $200 for a similar pair of chinos 😭

Our realtor was impressed with how not-picky we are and we informed him we are in fact incredibly picky we're just really good at vetoing houses before asking him to show them to us (we have seen 3 houses in one entire year) By the time we get to him we're looking for reasons not to buy.
