It’s so important for ethnic minorities to find others like us, especially those of us who live in super-white cities. I found an Asian dentist and an Asian vet and even though we don’t share an ethnicity, it’s so comforting and easy. I don’t ever feel judged/looked at askance for being brown. ♥️

One day I'll write a magnum opus of a blog post on mental health and writing. It can hit out of a bright, clear sky and totally incapacitate. I was writing two books a year and then had to take three years off because literally NOTHING would come out of my brain. We need to normalize this shit.
