Watching my favorite contemporary Okinawan Minyo artist sing on YouTube, and she is so soulful. I cannot help but sob. The music coming from her sanshin is the heart beat of generations of Ryukyuans living through the memory of our music. I am so moved and oh so proud to be Ryukyuan.

Got a perfume sample from a new company, and as I was trying to figure out the tester, sprayed it directly into my nose and mouth. As far as taste goes, it's a pretty good scent!
