I’ll read anything Sittenfeld writes but this was disappointing. I wasn’t too interested in the comedy skits; I’m not sure the humour landed. Noah felt cardboardy. What did work was how she writes on self sabotage - the way we fuck things up and sit in the awkwardness. Thoughts?

New experience unlocked 😉 got locked on a pier. One of those times you think, no! There must be a way. There was not. Two big iron gates with huge padlocks & nobody around. Spoiler - At the end of the pier was a helpful man who fetched a code for the padlock. But for a few minutes… #MoonSea💙
