Did you know? Every year, the Supreme Court’s nine justices fill out a form that discloses their financial connections to companies and people. Our database allows you to search for organizations and people that have paid them, reimbursed them for travel and given them gifts.

Interestingly, 47 and the GOP are all for a State's rights, except when they disagree with a state's policies and laws. So many insidious executive actions happening every single day will damage our country for years! www.whitehouse.gov/presidential... www.nytimes.com/2025/04/28/u...

Devoting a small fraction of U.S. farmland to solar power would be a boon both for the energy system and for farmers themselves, new research finds.

Good question!

From NPR, "... after DOGE accessed the NLRB's systems, someone with an IP address in Russia started trying to log in...Those were blocked, but whoever was attempting to log in was using a newly created DOGE account — and the person had the correct username and password." tinyurl.com/3sztzsfr

“The Trump administration is asking us to reimagine America as a country that not only does not value public service but actually torments its public servants,” Elaine Godfrey reports. https://theatln.tc/U64UnPy2

Just weeks after creating a $50 million tax credit for private schools, Idaho has shut down a program that helped public school students pay for laptops, school supplies, tutoring and other expenses. By @audreydutton.bsky.social

DOGE is a few different things. But one of the biggest is take control of the federal bureaucracy and hand out all the contracts to yours and your friends companies. Then privatize a bunch more stuff and gives those contracts to your cos and your friends' too. Smash and Grab, national edition.

GOP Sen. Lisa Murkowski said a fear of retaliation under Trump’s administration is rising to levels she’s not seen before. “We are all afraid ... I’m oftentimes very anxious myself about using my voice because retaliation is real," she said.

Musk and his staffers are weaponizing federal data to remove immigrants from housing and jobs. This sets a dangerous precedent—one that won’t stop here. The information they’ve collected will soon be used against all of us.

This is naked corruption that uses federal policy to pour money into the pockets of the President's largest campaign donor. Forcing the nation's 70-some million Social Security recipients to sign up for the website owned by a Nazi saluting billionaire is outrageous.

Senator Elizabeth Warren asked the Securities and Exchange Commission to investigate whether President Trump violated securities laws while reversing course on his global tariffs.

His little tariff war is also a convenient way to pay off his sycophants and the wealthy who have bankrolled him. 47 shares tip on Truth Social. How is this NOT illegal, immoral, and unethical? abcnews.go.com/Technology/w... www.thedailybeast.com/marjorie-tay... www.congress.gov/bill/117th-c...

To the world: We are fighting back. Our movement has been silenced by the media here—but we are not backing down. This is what our streets looked like across multiple cities. Tomorrow, there will be more of us! Raise a glass to freedom. —With love, Your American allies.

I wish no harm to those in the path of this storm. However, having systems to alert us (NOAA) and agencies to help us (FEMA) and communications systems that work during disasters (npr, pbs, and other public broadcasting systems) are incredibly helpful. Maybe we should keep them around!

Another reminder the men behind these new trade policies are very wealthy and insulated from their impact.

Just amazing…and tariffs on Russia!

One way of looking at yesterday is that Trump forgot the lesson of the law firms and universities. Go after one country at a time and that country is in a jam. Go after literally every country in the world at once, including the penguin countries, and you’re in the jam.

Another $2.6 billion in cuts to NIH are coming by next Tuesday www.statnews.com/2025/04/03/n... The shredded image fits

100 billionaire families spent $2.6 billion in the 2024 election. 70% of these donations went to Republicans. Now, Republicans in Congress are gearing up to slash essential programs to pay for another round of tax cuts for the rich. This is what oligarchy looks like.

Any farmers out there that can speak to whether they can get info for planting season ? Or loans to help them get through this ? Are federal offices open to even process loan requests ?

Where are the Russian tariffs?

The incompetence of this Administration never ceases to amaze. Waltz and other NSC members used Gmail to conduct official government business, with Waltz’s staff even sharing information about sensitive military positions and advanced weapon systems tied to an ongoing conflict.

Wonder why…

U.S. President Donald Trump's latest tariffs are a major blow to the world economy and will hurt vulnerable people the most, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen says. Follow AP live updates.

The New Jersey Democrat spent more than 25 hours criticizing the Trump administration's policies on immigration, education, the economy and more since 7 p.m. ET Monday. He ended his marathon speech shortly after 8 p.m. on Tuesday.

A Mongabay investigation has uncovered exclusive details about the clandestine market for gorilla and chimpanzee body parts in northeastern Nigeria, revealing that the trade works in a larger area than previously believed and kills more critically endangered gorillas than previously acknowledged. 🦍

I may be tired and a little hoarse, but as I said again and again on the Senate floor, this is a moment where we cannot afford to be silent, when we must speak up.

Things money can't buy, on this very good day for democracy, and for the Democrats.

Senator Cory Booker, his voice still booming after more than a day spent on the Senate floor railing against the Trump administration, surpassed Strom Thurmond for the longest Senate speech on record, in an act of astonishing stamina that he framed as a call to action. nyti.ms/4iXMx8m
