People still have…principles??

Keen to find out just exactly what opinion pages which are only about supporting "Defending personal liberties and free markets" will cover, and how far the opinion will range....

Thank you @yair-rosenberg.bsky.social @theatlantic.com. I'm amazed not to have read more on the propaganda & degeneracy behind all this. And I think many people/organisations have been played As you say: "It requires a suspension of belief in humanity." www.theatlantic.com/internationa...

Yes, this appears to be real - paving over the White House rose garden… www.nytimes.com/2025/02/14/u...

Have to keep telling myself not to be shocked about anything for the next four years…

My and Adam Rose’s op ed in todays Times www.thetimes.com/comment/colu...

Surprisingly strong performance from Richard II here…

This, from @yair-rosenberg.bsky.social @theatlantic.com is good, thoughtful and more interesting than most of what I've read on this today "Nobody Wants Gaz-a-Lago" www.theatlantic.com/internationa...

Oh no, one of my top newsletters, Peter Coy @nytopinion.nytimes.com is shuttering. That’s him & @pkrugman.bsky.social gone. His newsletter was always insightful - now he’s also off to Substack. Looking forward to seeing what the NYT does next messaging-custom-newsletters.nytimes.com/dynamic/rend...

Really interesting on Daniel Levy and Spurs from @barneyronay.bsky.social www.theguardian.com/football/202...

When two letters are in the wrong place… This actually made me laugh out loud. (Sent to me by my son from his uni halls)

Yes, Mikey Moore! #COYS (but we still need some signings!)

Interesting from @columjournreview.bsky.social re Paul Krugman leaving the NYT - it was because they wanted to stop his newsletter. Now he’s on Substack with nearly 150k sign ups… www.cjr.org/analysis/pau...

Now this (and please read all of it) is definitely worth your time

Can’t believe it’s only a few days since the inauguration.

I shouldn’t be shocked, but I am. When will we stop being shocked? And isn’t that worse?

Still thinking about that round table…(This was def the best episode of the series) #thetraitors

put it this way, it's not a hand signal you'd do if you very much wanted people *not* to think you are a Nazi

That (non) kiss though 😘

Red Cross finally showing an interest in the hostages - surely it’s not to do with photo opportunities as that would be beyond cynical

*shocked* (Is anyone?)

@naomialderman.bsky.social I am so enjoying your Human Intelligence podcasts though I nearly cried when listening to the Mary Wollstonecraft one today for some reason - maybe the profundity of what she did, & the loss of what she could have done. All so interesting & such a good range of subjects.

Newsletter? Podcast? TikTok….
