A timely, thought provoking night at the theatre this evening to see Merchant of Venice 1936. The reimagined setting didn't work for every character and aspect, but it was hugely powerful. On tour at the moment and definitely worth watching.

Did anyone else watch Years and Years on the BBC back in 2019? The mini-series follows the Lyons family from 2019 to 2034. Here's the HBO trailer it's a good snapshot. Brilliant cast, Emma Thompson is chilling. If you are going to watch, have tissues ready. It feels more relevant than ever.
