My family members are federal employees. The media is selling sunshine and roses. Of them there are staunch Dems and equally staunch Reps. They’re all pissed. All see this as installation of loyalists getting rid of senior employees less likely to bend rules. They won’t resign.

I use a certain well known company for my own auto insurance. But take it from me do NOT use great big companies on your homeowners insurance unless you have a name and phone number of a direct local agent. Allstate or State Farm, Farmers they have a dude down the road that you might bump into
