Went for a walk; stopped to pick up outgoing mail for an elderly neighbor, normal chitchat, weather & Sox. Then he said "what about Trump and Harvard, huh? I think he's going too far there". Internal: 1) Endless screaming, "too far THERE?!" 2) I guess at least there's a limit? External: "gotta run!"

My spouse is so allergic to poison ivy that he required a course of oral steroids last time he was exposed, so killing this is on me. I have a disposable tyvek suit and multiple layers of nitrile gloves ready to go. I'll clean the (cheap) pruning shears with tecnu when I'm done

Went to the native plant nursery yesterday, came home with 1 things we planned on (2 native holly bushes, tho we'll need to find a male elsewhere) & 4 types of perennial we absolutely weren't planning on. Today we plant!

BREAKING: Rümeysa Öztürk has been granted bail by a federal court in Vermont. With this ruling, she will be able to return to her Massachusetts community and continue her studies while the case proceeds. She never should have been locked up for exercising her First Amendment rights.
