One of the most horrifyingly cruel thing that humans are capable of is scamming by pretending to be victims of a current tragedy. To steal from those need it most and to feed into the paranoia of helping others. Making it so much harder and confusing to help those who need it. I hate it so much.

Disabled people rely on infrastructure more than others & susceptible to extreme weather events & supply chain issues. What is a minor inconvenience to someone can be life threatening for us. When you live in legislated poverty, contingency planning is hard. Include us in emergency preparedness!
