I pledged the Monster Maker tier for Silver Daze's Kickstarter, so I've been working on my enemy for a while. I'm not really an artist, so I mocked up my enemy in Blender, with some editing in GIMP (I'm also not a Blender artist). Colors may need adjusting, but I'm happy. It's a dice-themed robot!

My friend got me into a new musical a week ago and it's reminded me of this honestly funny effect where music automatically sounds way better when it's attached to something you care about. It's somewhat related to the repetition effect but I'm pretty sure this is a different phenomenon.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when people use the word "objectively" to mean "true". Objectivity is neutral, it means unbiased, so something being "objectively good" is an oxymoron. I do think something can be "objectively well executed" if we establish that execution is based on intent though.
