Bought a thing from a guy, but the guy has given my email address (and a lot of his customers' email addresses) to another business that is selling a supplementary service. Except the supplementary business didn't bcc everyone, so now I can basically see every customer the first guy had.

So my beautiful French linen trousers finally got a bit threadbare - they're 3 years old and last year alone I wore them 60 times so ...not surprising. Because I hemmed like 4in off them, I had plenty of original fabric leftover to patch and mend them 😎

A final polite reminder that you do not have to repost every story of sexual harm with "not a drag queen/trans person!" It's actually pretty fucked if your first thought about sexual harm is in relation to a vulnerable community that has nothing to do with what you're reading!

This Whangārei debarkle on fluoride really highlights the need for actual common sense leadership in local government. It's well known that this is no longer in LG's wheelhouse, and possibly taking down the whole council, commissioners, there's talk of jail time - how is that good for your city?

As an extremely anxious queer person, I grew up with an aggressively homophobic parent, and only one kid I knew came out while at school - and they were so mercilessly bullied by my peers. Obv the actual number of queer kids was much higher, but it seared that fear into my dna.

Not to overshare, but when I was a student - it was literally cheaper for me to be on the pill ($5/three months) than it was to be buying tampons or pads. Esp because I was living in houses with mold problems and one time mold was growing IN the new tampons I'd bought.
