Attending so many great summits and sessions really inspires and my partner to get more involved with peers in the industry. Maybe I should get back into streaming and contributing more. We’ve just been so focused on local stuff and miss the industry camaraderie.

A GDC reminder: SF COVID wastewater levels are currently higher than 2021. The vax protects from hospitalization, but only slightly reduces risk you'll end up like me, 10min from Moscone but too sick to have friends visit. Consider a well-fitted (K)N95 or equivalent. It's worth 'looking weird'.

Today my partner and I cancelled our GDC plans. It wasn’t an easy decision to make, but between reduced air safety, increased border control detainments, and escalating tensions between the US and Canada, travelling to the US for a games conference (especially from Canada) doesn't seem worth it.
