In the ongoing saga of me getting my personal belongings stolen, today it was my wonderful bike. Locked up under CCTV at the station. Thieved in broad daylight. Absolutely gutted/livid.

Many people have been asking for it (three people) so here's my review of Cap 4: My ★★ review of Captain America: Brave New World on Letterboxd boxd.it/8VBqB9

I do actually look forward to a shiny new Marvel movie. The truth is that most of them are not as good as they should be but all of them are better than people make out.

Look, without meaning to return to my MCU hypeman persona, Thunderbolts looks like a great Friday night at the cinema. A load of silly fun and sharp banter from a great cast of actors. I'm not above it.

Noting this bowl is a touch down. 🌎❤️ #Superman - only in theaters July 11

Being wiped out with illness today accommodated a perfect double bill of meditative, serene movies in Perfect Days and Robot Dreams. A warm balm to a dreary virus.

That Jurassic World trailer is a big whiff to me. Throwing dinosaurs in your face every few seconds is likely good marketing, but where's the tension/stakes. Completely lacks the sense of scale and colossal dread that Edwards brings with his filmmaking.

Getting through the day by trolling @samuelwroberts.bsky.social saying Fantastic Four looks as good as Superman.

It's so close for second place. Do the right thing.

Playing the heel and picking the best games. I can do it all!

Hit with the ills last night and for some reason thought playing Alyx in VR would be a good idea. It was not. Don't play VR games when you're sick, kids.

Saying goodbye to Inflexion today. A weird day of emotions but ultimately proud of the work we did on the team and what Nightingale's Early Access has achieved. It's a bold, idiosyncratic SOC game with huge potential, and I truly hope it builds on its success. Thanks for the Cheezies 🎩☂️

Bringing the Letterboxd reviews to bsky. A film I was gonna ignore until the unrelenting ads and an eager daughter wore me down turned out to be loads of fun.

So this journey went from bad to worse. Snow delayed train. Then a signal failure. Then a tree fell on the line. Then a train hit that tree. Ended up in an Uber with strangers. Uber driver nearly crashed. Then got into a road rage incident. Then charged me 20% more than the agreed price.

It's moderately snowed for about 30mins in Bournemouth and it's caused a 20min delay on the train. I feel like they should've worked this out by now.

Finally set up my PSVR with Steam and jumped into the Valve office tour. Got hit with a little blast of pride and joy seeing the stack of gamesTMs in the lobby.

I'm such a wuss that walking around the hub-cottage in BLOPS6 makes me tense. It's like I'm playing PT or RE6 again.
