I buy a new mug at the beginning of each new project. A small investment, but it makes me see the thing through. Over a year ago, I was going to write an adventure story about the Scottish mountains, so I bought the mug. Now that the book is here, it feels strangely moving to see them side by side.

Fun one from class today. P5 has the Scottish war of independence as a topic this term. 1286 onwards etc. My class was relieved to hear that since #Orkney was still part of Norway then that 'they' didn't get beaten by the English army of Edward 1st 😂 #EduSky #ScoEdu 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
