EON selling creative control over James Bond to Amazon MGM is a shocker for sure. That said, I will withhold judgement until I see who they hire to produce & direct the start of this next run. Whoever they get will have to come out swinging hard on BOND 26 too, as Bond goes public domain in 2035.

CAPTAIN AMERICA 4 is a hot mess. Good cast and a good concept for a story. Bad script and piss poor execution. The whole thing is shot like bad network TV. Nothing but center frame medium shots of everyone and every thing. There's no life to any of it, despite the efforts of the cast. What a waste.

This is a reminder that we came this close to getting a follow-up TV series to Tobe Hooper's SALEM'S LOT that would have followed Ben Mears & Mark Petrie as traveling vampire/monster hunters. (I bet we'd have actually met that San Francisco-based occult expert friend of Ben's in an episode!)
