Kansas ranks #47 in the U.S. for state-level funding for the arts. But a new advocacy group wants to change that.

My latest and perhaps most favorite ADHD strategy is to chop and caramelize onions during webinars and Zoom calls that don't require much engagement. It's just enough distraction, and I can always use caramelized onions.

At what point do fabulously wealthy people stop booking stays at White Lotus resorts, I wonder.

This installation is an utter joy — don’t miss it.

Harvester Arts recently moved into a new gallery space located in the Lux near 1st and Market. Meghan Miller, Mike Miller and Delilah Reed are showing new work there. They hope to fill the gallery and immerse the audience in “The Daisy Room Tie-In.”

Here’s a @davidjchavez.bsky.social -style post to announce I’m at The Forum Theatre’s production of “Bridges of Madison County.”

Laughed out loud at this line from @carolynhax.bsky.social’s Friday chat: “[I]f I can't be pedantic, then I'll need to build a new identity from scratch.” Same.

Went on a jaunt to Lindsborg today to watch a Raymer Society auction at the Birger Sandzén Memorial Gallery. One of the most entertaining experiences I’ve had lately.
