In the late 1940s into the 1950s, the US sought to ideologically deport individuals, including those who had lived in the US for most of their lives. "Should Miss Liberty Be Deported?" is a pamphlet in 1950 calling on the public to help challenge these deportations. Ch. 5 in "Threat of Dissent" 🗃️
