More climate facts won't change their minds. Emotional appeals, that center on people's identities, will. Climate change education is apparent in national education standards, but the scale and severity of the issue is not addressed. Furthermore, the solutions which are more than just engineering solutions are not adequately addressed. It is time for a set of climate standards that meet the challenge.
