Just recorded May's book haul video. Some collection fillers, some random online buys from PS Publishing, a fantastic small press publisher here in the UK, and an unboxing of a mystery selection of 10 hardbacks, also from PS. Oh, and a solitary charity shop find. Book problem? Moi? 🪐📚 #bookhaul

Love this new image from the James Webb telescope - it’s of an area the size of your outstretched fingernail in the sky, and virtually every point of light is a galaxy. Took me a while before I spotted the ring (lower middle) very like the Olas (8 connected galaxies) in the Immeasurable Heaven

Just jotting down my thoughts on this. It's a very English novel, rooted in place, of stout yeoman Englishmen and women of a certain kind, a growing sense of up with this we shall not put. This far and no further. I wonder how well it works if you don't feel it in your bones. I really loved it.
