This blew me away. Soap had been a straightforward comedy series until this point - nothing supernatural had ever happened in it. Suddenly the genre wall was torn down!

The reality is that reality and nature are rarely rigidly binary. Almost everything's a spectrum. Nothing is ever as simple as it might first seem. And people locked into rigid ideas of categorization will always end up being wrong. The universe is far too flexible for that.

Genuinely love malicious compliance. Love it bad.

"Oh, he isn't real. He's just a composite face, put together by a computer." Kirby was reading rooms that weren't even built yet.

There's this amazing, electrifying moment in the second Terry and the Pirates collection; it's like Milton Caniff has finally realised that Terry is a far more interesting character than Pat Ryan. Terry seizes control of his own comic strip! #MiltonCaniff #comics

Can’t help but think of Alex Toth every time I watch Anthony Mann’s wild “Reign Of Terror (aka Black Book”). Shot by the great John Alton it evokes the same dynamic compositions, inky blacks and silhouettes and fast paced action that was in some of Toth’s best work. #comics #toth #cinema #filmsky

Any comics artist interested in treating each page as an exploration in design should study Alex Toth. Hard. #comics

I haven't watched #Reacher, but isn't he supposed to be a really big dude? That guy on the right is tiny!

Anyone aghast at the thought that we might get a movie James Bond and a TV version at the same time should remember that Sherlock Holmes fans have been coping with this sort of thing for a long time.
