The cost of new and resale housing is already pricing young people and young families out of the market. Now add a 7% mortgage on top of that plus closing costs ,the only safe haven for their money will be under their mattresses.

We all should be urging our Senators to vote against this bill since it will need a 60 vote majority to pass in the Senate. Anyone, regardless of party should be against this bill.

I just purchase a product from an American company that was manufactured in Shanghai. The product was $166. That same product will now be 125% more expensive, ($373.50), since it is from China. How is that for improving consumer confidence?
