If Utah can’t get something really cooking with Mina Tanaka and Ally Sentnor this season some questions will be asked

Nadesh(e)iko Believes is that anything

Japans been the best team at SBC all week, well deserved and fully anticipated result for the win - the USWNT really didn’t play very well though by the end there after holding it together pretty well themselves this week. Exposed cracks while missing major pieces, am interested in what comes next.

Pretty tepid, choppy second half from the U.S.. Japan the better team pretty consistently through this one, just a pleasure to watch. The USWNT is getting their individual tape on some bubble players, but definitely getting exposed

Oh no blood

The U.S. still doesn’t have a great answer at left back right now, and teams scout it every time

A really interesting thing about this particular USWNT XI, and somewhat uncharacteristic maybe? Is that this is a really tidy on-ball group, that also doesn’t have a ton of pace in every role.

Game on!

Death taxes Japan scoring early, Emma Hayes said the U.S. was gonna suffer and she got that right

So what Celsius is everybody drinking they didn’t have great options at Jewel so I went for Arctic Vibe

It is pretty neat in a way for the USWNT to start a 17-year-old in midfield for a friendly cup final and you’re immediately like yes strongest positional choice

The camera bouncing up and down after England scored is pretty cute

Pretty big injury news out of Portland: Morgan Weaver, defender Nicole Payne, and defender Marie Müller have been placed on the Season-Ending Injury (SEI) list. Each player is recovering from a knee injury

I legitimately hope the Diana Taurasi Wintrust Door ends up in a museum one day

Rebeca Bernal to the Spirit is very good business, I really like Washington's roster construction once again

The Bulls are so bad at tanking that I watched a little bit and it actually made me angry

So a SheBelieves Final of sorts on Wednesday! US needs a win, Japan merely a draw for the 2025 SBC title

Deserved goal back by Australia, a clean sheet by the U.S. really wouldn’t have reflected the run of play super accurately

Really, really good first appearance from Hutton

Michelle Cooper took a sec to get comfortable with the pro speed of play but she’s 100% there now

Couple of players outta gas though

I like Hayes leaving this XI out here to have to weather the storm, even if they concede. This is a very young and inexperienced group, they gotta get used to what it feels like to go up against tactical/momentum shifts

Really awesome day of womens college hoops March has never been closer

They’re up a goal already so not too harsh on it but the U.S. insisting on playing this slow when Australia’s defense struggles so much in transition is like doing this on hard mode

That ball to Biendolo from Shaw is great in-game progress, she’d had a couple sequences where her teammates weren’t finding her before she had to start her run/push offside.

Well!

USWNT rotating a lot as expected. Lindsey Heaps getting a break, very young team out there today good stuff

Stuck on Notre Dame vs NC State in OT and Japan has already scored

Sonia Citron you are a Chicago Sky

The NHL successfully turning their all star game into a blood feud isn’t something I’d probably recommend to other leagues but somehow still impressive

Basic stats but that was a great freakin game from the USWNT midfield

Perhaps randomly an incredible day of international play for the Utah Royals

Scoring goals is also a good way to impact the game
