There is no underlying theory for the Trump Tariffs. He is imposing tariffs because he wants to and as an expression of power. The incoherence from all admin spox is because there is no policy goal. There's barely even magical thinking about end results.

In the Nuremberg judges trial, the judges who helped grease the wheels of Nazi atrocities argued that they were just applying the horrific law, and should not be held accountable. Roberts, Gorsuch, Alito, Kavanaugh, and Thomas don’t even have that excuse. They’re making up their own horrific law.

All paid weather information depends on the data from NOAA. Weather companies hated competing with free, and didn't want NOAA to hand out the data *to anyone else*. They do not have their own data.
