How come no congressman has dragged the executives from Hewlett Packard into a hearing to say under oath whether "uh we cant let you print a black and white document because the cyan ink cartridge is empty" thing is actually technically necessary or not?

It's pathetic the CDC is justifying weakening their guidance because "no one is following them." How many times have we heard "but the CDC guidance says it's fine" used as an excuse? Weak guidance doesn't lead to better public health. It endorses anti-public health behavior.

There are many people who can't afford to take days off work even when they are ill. The CDC should be recommending that employers give workers paid sick leave, not making it easier for bosses to exploit workers by saying it's fine to work when you are sick.

Slavery was Legal. Colonialism was Legal. Jim Crow was Legal. Apartheid was Legal. Legality depends on who has power and the kinds of laws they pass to preserve their own privileges and bigoted views. Legality often has nothing to do with justice.
