“Fine Leo, just take the couch, it’s yours.”

That thought did cross my mind also, I really hope it’s one of the other two scenarios though.

I think both your explanations are really among the only plausible non Rutherford is batshit explanations. If it isn’t one of those two things (or both, as in if the part A offers aren’t good enough, hello B) then I am really at a loss as to why he opted to do this now.

I was thinking this also. I don’t know that how I feel about Mittelstadt, much less having to type his name on a regular basis, but I’d nonetheless rather him than Chytil.

I’m pretty sure you aren’t supposed to chainsaw butter.

Where did you hear about the Demko part?

For sure, that is incredibly baffling. They briefly show they can hang with the best even as presently constructed now warts and all, only for that team to completely disappear for long stretches. I don’t get it.

Instead the complete opposite has happened, and it seems very much like we are on the verge of blowing up the team and going right back to middling purgatory somewhere between rebuild and contender. If that indeed happens Hughes is all but gone, which is the hardest pill to swallow of all.

As am I. As a very long term Canucks fan I am obviously extremely well versed in severe disappointment, but it is hard to recall ever being as disappointed as I am this year. Last year was so promising, and I truly thought we would build off it and continue to move forward.

I have been thinking about this A LOT myself.

I honestly think the most remarkable thing in all of this (though it’s difficult to choose) is actually not the amount of outrage over what really amounts to an uncalled holding minor against Garland but rather the UTTER LACK of outrage around Bouchard being crosschecked in the face for no reason.

I don’t know what clearsky is, and I’ve already maxed out my quota for having to learn new things in 2025.

The muffin right onto Draisaitl’s stick on the first goal against definitely wasn’t great.

One would certainly have to think so yeah.

I’m trying to think of different possibilities (I am far from “computery,” but do use a second monitor when I work from home and have some experience with that). The thing that is throwing me is that your laptop is detecting the other screen.

I would definitely be on board with that. Acquisition cost would presumably be very minimal, and as you say the familiarity is a plus. Almost nothing to lose with giving it a shot really.

Sorry about that. 😬

Do we know if Lekkerimaki is actually going to play? If so him, otherwise Miller.

100%. Thanks to enormous privilege I don’t vote for me, I vote for those who need help most, and that means never voting conservative (to say nothing of the many ways conservative values do not align with my own anyway).

That has always been one of the most amusing/tragic things about that particular crowd, many actually have the most to lose from conservative policies, but are too stupid to realize that.

That is a totally valid reason for hating them, and I know most people just don’t like them anyway.

Thank you, I’m not sure that it does, but I definitely don’t feel great! 😂

I don’t really think anyone (reasonable) will think of it as anything other than unfortunate accidental contact, but I also think a lot of (unreasonable) Canucks fans are probably pretty choked at Juulsen.

That is perhaps the strangest thing, that they started quite well but even amidst that start they seemed to know all was far from well and started talking about making key players available for trade.

Me neither, I checked the standings a little earlier, and…wow.

Many of ours are very special too for various reasons, and it is always really sad when any of them break. I tried to find yours that broke online, but I couldn’t find it. 😢

Thank you, and you also @blueheron.bsky.social. That’s pretty much where I’ve landed, just as with internet arguing I know there is really no point and I’ll just end up fired up without having gotten anywhere.
