The Internet Archive has to date downloaded 500 terabytes of US government websites, which it crawls at the end of every presidential term. The whole archive is fully searchable. I've been using the excellent 'Luna' app to track my reading. The 'gamification' of reading does make me more likely to pick up a book! My 2024 in books: 📚31 books finished 📃10,161 pages read ⌛6,653 minutes spent reading - or 4.6 whole days!

Trying to read a local news mobile webpage in 2024... Countless adverts, over half the actual content hidden by a sign-up form, and then trying to force enable notifications by having it take up half the screen. I know, money, etc...but really??? This experience actively deters me from visiting.
