We're making some last minute mini resin pieces with sky blue glow powder tonight, along with some sports coasters, ornaments and a couple of trays. We will be open from 12-4 tomorrow, if you need a last minute sticking stuffer or gift certificate. Happy Holidays! Stay Artsy, Stay Fartsy!

This past week, our classes created "smashed Elves" paintings, with puddles of color and spatulas. Whack! Then, we added elves and fairies where the splatters told us to. Most students' paintings come out pretty, these released some holiday frustrations.

This is a friendly reminder that even if you can't support an artist you love through monetary means, your retweets have a MASSIVE amount of power here on Bluesky. Since there's no algorithm, every RT you give makes a post more visible to others!

Happy Friday the 13th from Hecate!

Bringing it to 🦋 by request: People hate their own art because it looks like they made it. They think if they get better, it will stop looking like they made it. A better person made it. But there's no level of skill beyond which you stop being you. You hate the most valuable thing about your art.

I keep reading that this is a place for kinder people, but gentle souls have always been among us. We just couldn’t hear them anymore. Perhaps our gathering here is proof that we missed those voices. What a wonderful thing to believe about ourselves. It can be a bold move to choose kindness.

Do Canadian Jawas say "Poutini!"?

This cartoon feels downright optimistic given what they’re promising. 😞

Most Depressing Christmas song? It's got to be that one in a minor key from Peanuts. "Christmastime...is here. Drown yourself...in booze." Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas and I'll Be Home For Christmas are runners up.

Relax your mind and zoom into Webb’s view of the Pillars of Creation. 💫
