Ask your doctor if "Slamming a hammer into your f'n skull" is right for you!

That sound you hear is every Staff+ engineer and SRE screaming in unison

¤ I fall to the ground and start crying until blood leaks from my eyes. I look down at the pool for a reprieve of color. The blood slowly bleaches white. I will never find peace. ¤

I love it when people say they've read the Art of War and The Prince like it's a big ordeal. I mean, both are great books designed to teach fail-sons to listen to your damn advisors and that supply lines are a good thing. More people should read both. But that's like a total of 200 pages?

I have not directly encountered God even once. Dr. Indiana Jones has been lucky enough to witness proof of God at least FOUR SEPARATE TIMES. And yet, he hasn’t dedicated his life to Christ, Shiva, or any other deity. Why not, Indy?? youtu.be/LJkMWj7QGcA

This covers from banal to evil. But I wanted to touch on involuntary commitment. I've not heard of any metro area that has free access to mental health are, nor availability of housing, nor available for voluntary commitment. We need to greatly grow these before even thinking about involuntary.

Meta used five of my books for AI training, including one about an alligator that joins the Air Force and another about Jose Canseco travelling through time.

The real story is that GOP reps are finally getting some pushback. But I think most people are skipping over that the town hall was apparently hosted by the Holy Spirit

If you want to actually support a group, don't stream their albums or buy photo cards. You're better off sliding them a roll of non-sequential $20s during a Hi Touch event and making sure their manager doesn't see it.

This removes a portion of hope I didn't know I still had until it was gone.

I thought edit functionality wasn't available yet, but people seem to have viewed a previous version of this post where he apparently said 'never fight anything' If you're planning on doing actions, be smart about your comms. This isn't about free speech, it's about not getting stopped as easily.

Winona Ryder you are cool as hell

the senators recoil in horror as a wounded Caesar rises from the floor and a second health bar appears on the screen

Some people gleefully do this about appearance and other attributes. Which really lets you know what they think makes someone less of a person and thus deserving of harm.

Marneus Calgar looks at the ancient scroll and nods in approval. He scratches out the second n and hands it to the servitor. It will make a good name for the newly minted battleship that will hunt down the dregs of Hive Fleet Behemoth.

I saw a person who seemed to want to be diagnosed away from Schizotypal because then they would have support and community. ...and that just broke me down a little. We're not in the worst situation socially, but this points to something unfriendly in our culture.

Elon Musk's favorite supposed data expert, who he's retweeted at least a dozen times, claims she can only process 60,000 rows of data before her "hard drive overheats"

The media say AI corps 'trained' and 'built off' the data but never mention the theft. With me, all they do is gripe about how I stripped all of that copper wiring from those buildings. Not a single opinion article about all of the good I've done with that copper.

That's really the heart of the matter. Many writers/artists/designers got started because no one did what they wanted to see. A majestic few started specifically just to spite those who they felt had wronged them personally. The axiom 'more data is better than less' really translates well here.

This feels like one of the biggest open goals ever. Just show up and talk to a bunch of disenfranchised republicans. I know it probably isn’t always going to be pleasant, but you are also the person that chose to do a job where the job is ostensibly representing their interests

I walk up to this and hold Triangle. I bring up the portacom on my wrist and after a small mini game, the glitching stops. The kiosk offers 3 dialog options, one which gives me an update on a sidequest with a new minimap icon.

Didn't die yet.

bong joon-ho went on late show with colbert to promote mickey 17 and got asked if he'd ever do a musical,

Wait, your societal construction plans are calling for both simulacra and simulation? Buddy, the budget we got is barely going to cover representations of that which is in nature, I don't think we can fit things that represent that which we know to be true but have no connection to the real world.

This random skeet made me think about how acknowledging that a belief is nonstandard is what makes it not a symptom of Schizotypal. My (odd) 'beliefs' are not (sub)cultual, they are ~things I know to be true~ and that's the symptom, not the specific beliefs.

RealID feels really stupid if you already have a passport. When am I going to be out on the town and need to fly to Idaho but I didn't have time to go home? To SeaTac and onward to Coeur d'Alene at great haste!
